Muska; Fulfill the Dream.

Growing up, Chad Muska was my favorite skateboarder. In the age of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, it was hard not to like this guy. Sunglasses, headphones, he always looked so fresh! I’ll never forget my “Chadillac Muskalade” board by Shorty’s. It was the best board I ever had!! And that Muska backpack by Circa with the speakers in it, man I wanted one of those!!! He definitely used to shred… Kinda bummed I don’t hear about or see him much him anymore. Definitely was one of the reasons I started skating back in the day. Muska, if you’re out there dude, stop by and pick up your Spree Killers shirts!! Hahahaha….

Darren Harper goes on record.

If you haven’t heard already, professional skateboarder Darren Harper and skate company DGK have been in somewhat of a fued. Harper says the discord between DGK and himself began after he signed on to ride for another company (Yums Footwear). Stevie Williams, who owns the DGK brand, asked Harper to choose between the two brands. Harper reportedly states that he was not kicked off the DGK brand, but left because of miscommunication between himself and Williams. The drama between the two ultimately culminated at the Red Bull Manny Mania event, resulting in a scuffle between Harper and Williams, seen in the video below, which was defused by event security.
