Maxx242 and Dayne Henry have been hard at work on the story and art for a full length graphic novel they’re working on for The Wild Ones. It will be a four part mini series that will see the release of the first part later this year. Maxx decided to give us a little sneak peek. Looks dope!

The Wild Ones; The story behind the artwork.

All artwork has a story. Well, Maxx242 of The Wild Ones decided to sit down and tell you the story of some of his favorite tee’s/collabs from their last few seasons. Here it is! “As we’re building the new site, I went through our graphic assortment from the last year and upcoming seasons. There is something to be said about every tee, so I thought I’d go ahead and say it. Here is the story for some of my favorite tees from the last few seasons. Kinda hard to pick, I pretty much like them all..First up is part 1 of our 2 part collaboration with Conart. I started painting graffiti in 1990, back then there wasn’t a lot of coverage on graffiti. No internet, not as many publications, and no apparel. The early 90s was when you started seeing brands pop up. Conart was one of the brands that stood out to me. I remember some of my favorite tees were by Hex, Mear, and Xpres. 2 yrs ago I got to meet Xpres, super good dude. I was really happy when we got together with Conart and got this collab going, easily one of my all time favorite TWO tees. Next up we have another great collab”.. CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING.
